Mardi gras community ‘up in arms’ over violent video, calls for police to investigate’very serious incidents’
Mard충주출장마사지i gras is the biggest festival in France during April. The festival has spread to over 160 countries and has become known for its excessive drinking, fights, sexual assaults and extreme violence.
The annual festival, which draws around 50,000 revellers to the port town of Nice, was launched in 2012, to commemorate Saint Char수원출장마사지les de l’Escargot, a famous medieval warrior who killed St Bernard, Saint Isaac and Saint Bernard-de-Lys, and the nearby saint’s martyrdom.
A spokesman for the Nice festival told AFP the party-goers who carried out the “very serious incidents” in the wake of the attack had the right to celebrate.
The march on Friday was expected to start on Nice’s central square, which was filled with thousands of supporters, the Reuters ne라이브카지노ws agency reported.
Carnivalgoers, many wearing festive scarves decorated with their favourite characters, joined in the celebrations with live music and an art programme in the shape of a “grill” which had a theme like the carnival.
On Monday, dozens of masked revelers raided a nightclub in Paris and carried out several stabbing assaults and shootings across the city, one of them reportedly targeting the president of the town’s municipal council.
The attacks marked a series of high-profile attacks on foreign politicians in France which have sparked a wave of panic and alarm around a rising number of Islamist terrorism.
